BRIGHTON & HOVE
In 2015 Brighton & Hove Council commissioned a multi-agency monitoring system, the first of its kind in the area, with the aim to share information between homelessness agencies and the local authority. One of the key partners, St Mungo's, currently provides the outreach service and has recently started delivering a SIB (Social Impact Bond). This payments-by-results programme has been developed in BTHINK to allow providers to track their achievements with clients in the areas of substance use, employment, housing and includes a payment calculation mechanism with verification to ensure the council can check and deliver payment for outcomes.
BTHINK also includes a bespoke mapping tool which is linked to the google and Mapit APIs (application programme interface) - basically meaning that data can be drawn from these sources to help provide a useful set of geolocation data for the purposes of hotspot tracking and more efficient organisation of shifts.
