Step Forward support local young people who are facing disadvantage and enable them to thrive, develop, grow and reach their full potential in life.

They have been using a range of spreadsheets to record their one to one and group work with young people. Given the complexity of their reporting requirements to funders and the increasing clunkiness of maintaining separate spreadsheets, they approached us to develop a Salesforce based system.

Using Lightning seemed like a natural choice, since it is user-friendly and mobile compatible which was important given that a number of the sessions occur off-site in schools. We repurposed the Campaigns area of Salesforce as a group invite and attendance tool, so that the popularity of group sessions could be analysed and it was easy at a quick glance to see which courses a young person has been attended, alongside the more detailed one-to-one support work.

Recent work has included the development of a reporting extract for NHS grant project data.
